    Amazon.com Item Description:
Ideal for travelers, trade show exhibitors, and anyone else who frequently schleps boxes and other gear from place to place, the Magna Cart personal hand truck is engineered with toughness in mind. The 7-pound hand truck is made of sturdy rustproof aluminum, with a telescoping handle that extends to 39 inches tall. As a result, both tall and short users can comfortably haul up to 150 pounds at once. The 5-inch rubber wheels, meanwhile, roll smoothly on virtually any surface, from pavement to trim carpet to linoleum. Best of all, the truck folds up compactly for storage or carrying, with a footprint of only 25 inches tall and 2 inches wide. The hand truck's narrow profile makes it ideal for carrying on planes (it fits easily in overhead compartments), trains, and cars, and when you're not using it, simply hang it on a peg in the garage or stow it next to the fridge.

    Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * LOVE IT ...
I was skeptical due to small size and low price, but this product is AWESOME! I use it many times a week, and it can carry a massage table up two flights of stairs! It folds up to fit nicely in your car, and is very light. I would definitely buy another one! Fast shipping too :)

    Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - * Handy & Functional ...
Purchased this great little "dolly" to transport plastic tubs of books and materials; am very pleased. Is extremely easy to store, load, unload and folds back into its handy storage shape quickly and easily. Am finding it great for multiple home uses as well. Only tiny complaint I have is wishing that the handle extended more; find that I have to bend/reach down to pull or push it. Even knowing that, would still buy it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Magnacart Personal Hand Truck Delivers ...
This handcart was purchased for my business. I am very pleased with the quality, sturdiness and the fact that it folds up so compact. It is easy to recommend this product to anyone who needs a hand truck that can go with them anywhere. -Kiss of Nature Handcrafted Soaps

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * As good as it gets ...
I've worked in the construction field for years (but am now in computers) and I've used dozens of hand trucks of various makes. We've recently moved and to make things easier I decided to buy my own hand truck. We shopped the usual suspects--Northern Tool, Harbor Freight, Home Depot. I kept asking myself, "Where am I going to keep the truck after I'm done using it now?" Face it: most hand trucks would take up a small closet.

So I started poking around on Amazon and found this. I read all the reviews and thought "I'll take the chance." Smart move!

This is a wonderfully compact hand truck that fits in the gap beside my dresser and the wall, or practically anywhere.

I've stacked three 1.5 cubic foot boxes of books on it and moved them from the house, over the grass, to the shed for storage. No problem.

The way the wheels are designed it handles steps as easily as the bigger units.

I'm tall so I'd like a tad more length on the handle, but I've not had any problems with it, and my wife thinks the length is perfect.

Finally, the issue of what I call "tilt up"--that awkward moment when you pick up the load by tilting back on the handle. I simply put one foot on one of the wheels and tilt back--since the wheels are small, it is actually EASIER than it would be with a bigger-wheeled truck.

I was a bit skeptical when I saw the company president weigh in on his own product, but frankly, I believe he's got it right. This is a well designed product that combines stiffness with compactness and load carrying capability. Yesterday I saw someone with their bigger product the Magna Cart, and I think I'd rather have the Magna Cart Personal since it is a bit more compact for storage.

On top of everything else, this spud is less expensive than the larger steel hand-trucks. Win-win all around.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Magna Cart is Super and Compact!! ...
I purchased this to take the place of a full length dolly hand truck to use while transporting items from store to car. Extremely versatile and can handle just about any weight up to 150lbs. The manuverability is great on grass, unpaved surfaces and has good leverage going up and down curbs. I purchased it at Menards for only $20.00 (US) after store rebate. Now that is a great bargain for a very useful and handy go anywhere dolly!
    Compact and practical!!

American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken still needs a hair stylist and better wardrobe, but his silvern vocals are handsomely rewarding on this holiday television special. For reasons never quite explained, the unusual production actually deconstructs the illusion of a seamless TV show by showing cast and crew buzzing about between songs. But this gimmick is easily overlooked whenever Aiken breaks into one of his clear-as-a-bell renditions of a Yuletide classic. Highlights include "Christmas Waltz," with particularly thoughtful lyrics; the touching "Merry Christmas with Love"; and a sassy "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," the last shared with Barry Manilow and Yolanda Adams. Showman Manilow delivers a pleasant medley, and Adams is strong on her pop-gospel turn, "O Holy Night." A cute scene features all the performers talking about unusual gifts, and the finale finds Aiken and friends bringing down the house with "Because It's Christmas (For All the Children." --Tom Keogh

Players who love the Flubberesque exaggerated leaping of arcade basketball games, and also those who want to run serious simulation games for fun, should be pleased with NBA Courtside 2. A fairly complete arcade mode exists, with super dunks from just inside the three-point arc, smokin' passes for players with hot hands, and 5-, 10-, and 15-point hotspots for shooting big numbers. The sonic boom dunk actually causes the opposing team to fall down onto the parquet floor.

While many novice gamers will enjoy the high-flying, mad-dunking action of the arcade mode, the heart of this game is a serious basketball simulation. With excellent controls, impressive artificial intelligence, and easy play-calling for cuts to the basket, this game should sit well with purists who prefer their mix of coaching and playing in equal doses. A deep create-a-player mode is also available for nurturing an NBA star-in-the-making and powering up his abilities as he performs well over a season. The moves of Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant were motion-captured for the movement of the players in this game, so expect fluid athletic motion. --Jeff Young

    Pros:

    • Exciting arcade mode
    • Well-designed control scheme
    • Realistic matchups between players
    Cons:
    • Graphics could be better
    • Multiplayer mode is a bit complicated with offscreen players

Big news on the Harry Potter musical front: After scoring the first three installments in the series, John Williams has been replaced by Patrick Doyle. Still, Williams never feels far away. His main theme pops up here and there, and a track like "Voldemort," which eloquently illustrates the soul of a blacker-than-black wizard with thunderous cymbal crashes, shrieking horns, tumultuous strings, and a stately finish, firmly belongs in the Williams mode. Overall, Doyle acquits himself well. He can do light when needed ("The Quidditch World Cup," which starts out like some kind of jig), but mostly he's required to be ominous ("The Quidditch World Cup," which ends in martial war chants). Among the highlights are the aforementioned "Voldemort," but also the frantic, overpowering "The Dark Mark." Note that the CD concludes on a jarringly different note with three songs by the Weird Sisters, the group that performs at Hogwarts' Yule Ball. Led by Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker, the ad hoc band also includes members of Radiohead and Cocker's side project Relaxed Muscle. "Do the Hippogriff" is a fast-paced rocker that somehow comes across like a grungy hybrid of Billy Idol's "White Wedding" and "Dancing with Myself." The other two songs--"This Is the Night" and "Magic Works"--are less obvious, and much better. Still, the contrast between these tracks and the instrumental score that precedes them may not be to everybody's taste. --Elisabeth Vincentelli

You needn't see the film of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone to appreciate the wonder, magic, and fearful chills of J.K. Rowling's phenomenal bestseller in John Williams's outstanding score. Williams typically avoids the source material for the films he scores, but he reportedly derived great pleasure and inspiration from Rowling's first Harry Potter adventure, and created a perfect motif (fully expressed in "Hedwig's Theme") to dominate his score. It's first heard as a dreamy celesta waltz and embellished through myriad incarnations and moods, often with a sinister edge befitting the darker tones of Chris Columbus's direction. Evident are fantastical allusions to Saint-Saëns and Tchaikovsky (among others), and Williams's epic track is "Quidditch Match," a breathtaking frenzy to accompany the film's dazzling highlight. And while Williams occasionally flirts with self-plagiarism (with inevitable variants of his Hook and Star Wars themes), this is nevertheless a richly regal score that brilliantly evokes the mystery and magic of Harry Potter's world. --Jeff Shannon
