Rating: - * Worthless Thermostat - Well Built Heater ... Worthless Thermostat - Well Built Heater. I bought this for my bedroom after the a Honeywell Hz-2200 started to rattle after only 2yrs. This little unit is well built and will never rattle. BUT the thermostat is terrible. The room swings 8 degrees and the setting is never the same. I just ordered another Honeywell hz2200 - It kept the tempature at a predictable level, I just hope that this one lasts longer. Rating: - * smell of hot plastic not pleasant ... I bought 2 of these heaters for separate areas of the house. We started using one right away, and the smell of hot plastic made me postpone opening the other one until I was sure the smell was temporary. When it hadn't gone away after 28 days, I returned the second one. I'm sensitive to odors like that. If they don't bother you, it's a decent heater in other respects; if they do, you may want to run it somewhere else for a good long time before you bring it into your living space. One other complaint is that the "carrying handle" is just an indentation in the back that even my small fingers don't fit into well enough to pick the heater up securely. Rating: - * Great in an RV! ... We've had occasion to use this in a 27-foot travel trailer and a 35-foot fifth wheel RV. We've used it in temperatures down to 17 degrees outside. This little heater is worth its weight in gold in an RV. Instead of using expensive propane in the RV's heating system, this little portable maintains comfortable temperatures, is safe, and has a small footprint. It is ideal for camping in travel trailers and 5th-wheelers. Rating: - * I'd buy it again. ... I bought this for my cubicle at work, because it's really cold in the mornings (and I get cold easily). I put it under my desk just to heat my feet, but it keeps my whole cubicle warm! At first, I was concerned that it would make too much noise, but it's not loud at all. The people who sit next to me did not even notice it. It's a great buy! Rating: - * Great little heater for little price! ... Very satisfied with this product. Purchased one for my daughters bedroom (which is very large) and for my office. It heats up the areas very quickly. Thermostats work well, contrary to what I've seen in other reviews. Highly recommend. |

Each episode is self-contained, from "Decalogue I" ("I Am the Lord Thy God"), the touching story of a boy who starts asking the hard questions of life from his rationalist father and religious aunt, to "Decalogue X" ("Thou Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighbor's Goods"), a comic tale of estranged brothers who bond through a winding ordeal involving their father's priceless stamp collection. There are stories of tragedy and triumph, both expansive and intimate, some profoundly moving and others delicately shaded--but all are warmed by Kieslowski's sympathetic direction and his eye for resonant, fragile imagery. Initially drawn together by location--the series is set in a dreary Warsaw apartment complex--a web of associations forms as characters pass through other stories, sometimes only briefly, and themes reverberate through the series. The Decalogue is ultimately a personal spiritual investigation into the soul of man, a work of quiet attention and deep emotion marked by astounding images and vivid characters. Each volume is also available individually on VHS. --Sean Axmaker
